Announcement: Southern Athletics League (“SAL”) 2023 season
Gavin LauOur club members are becoming more familiar with the cadence of the fixtures across the full calendar year. Road racing and XC often occupies the autumn and winter months, leading to the marque spring marathon season.
VPH&THAC has a long and proud track and field heritage with strong junior teams and a current objective to renew interest across the senior events over the summer period. Alf Vickers, Cornelia Abe-Minale and the core track & field coaching and admin team invest countless hours to support our athletes, and are always willing to welcome new interested runners.
The preparations for the 2023 Southern Athletics League (“SAL”) are underway, never too early to save the dates in your calendar. We will organise a pre-season taster session at one of the local track venues (eg. Mile End) to showcase hurdling, jumps and throws.
