Race Report: James Hotham represents VPH&THAC at the Night of the 10000m PBs.
Gavin LauA unique track race hosted by Highgate Harriers at the famous Parliament Hill Athletics Track. The Night of the 10000m PBs event has grown in reputation and stature, and the 2023 event was filled with some intense racing! James Hotham lined up for Race 2, and ran a swift 31:53:72 in a strong field and testing conditions.
A brilliant concept with amazing atmosphere, exciting racing at Club to Olympic level, and spectators watching the action right from the track. Roared on by thousands of spectators at Parliament Hill in north London on Saturday (May 20), Paul Chelimo of the United States stormed to an emphatic men’s victory in 27:12.73 while Mizan Alem Adane of Ethiopia destroyed a world-class field by more than a minute with 29:59.03.
