Race report: Chingford League, Race 6, Victoria Park 5M

Kudos to our runners that continue to be competitive at the front of the pack with 5 women and 7 men in their respective Top 10 standings! Thank you to our club members who made themselves available before, during and after the event to support the league organisers to put on such a well run event.

Though he was not able to attend in person, a special mention to Len Williams, who is still very active in officiating our club events and raced in the first edition of this race. Proudly competed for the club through all the age groups. Also to Barry Cook who joined us to capture more photos and memories as a spectator who raced many past editions as well.

The final team relays will be at Wanstead flats for the season finale. Complete relay teams are needed as final team podium positions for VPH are still to be decided. Save the date: Saturday 11 to March.

Don’t forget, any everpresent VPHers that have attended all 7 races will receive the prized Chingford league mug at the prize giving!
