Race Report: North London XC Champs 2023
Gavin LauAn excellent afternoon out at a soggy Hackney Marshes for the 2023 edition of the North London XC Champs saw VPH&THAC bring home a whole lot of swag.
35 runners from Victoria Park Harriers turned out on the afternoon and took on a course that served up a number of surprises including (but not limited to): excessive stingers, sleeping tree trunks, low hanging branches, general slippiness.
Great to see some regular XC racers through the pack, and the photos paint a real picture of the conditions. Also, some great performances towards the top end in both races but special mentions to Adam Millbery and James Hotham for a ding-dong battle for the win. Adam coming out on top having finally broken James on the final lap.
