Race report: Mike Penman Open 5 Mile
Gavin LauA great day of racing with 75+ participants, with strong teams from Dulwich, Eton Manor & East London Runners. An event to remind us all of our wonderful supportive community of London wide clubs. A respectful tribute to Mike Penman, our friend and dedicated club runner, a lovely man who was tragically taken from us 20 years ago.
Amazing results from both our VPH&THAC men and women! VPH women making up the podium: Lily Zechmann (1st), Hazel Norton-Hale (2nd) and Sue Bint (3rd). Four of our men placed in the top-10, and Joe Dale taking 2nd overall.
A special thank you to all those involved and our bakers for helping raise £140 to the Shelter charity.
