Race Report: Assembly League 2022

The current season is made up of 4 races, with the opener held at Beckenham Park, and the second and third fixtures hosted by our club in Victoria Park. The club fielded 74 and 59 runners at the respective home races. With our leading runners coming home in impressive times:

Race 1, 5km: Paul Norfolk (26th/26th M) 17:24; Hazel Norton-Hale (132nd/23rd F) 21:17
Race 2, 3.5M: Adam Milberry (5th/5th M) 17:18; Mandy Dohren (103rd/4th F) 21:22
Race 3, 3.5M: Adam Milberry (1st/1st M) 17:28; Lily Zechmann (83rd/7th F) 21:37

The final fixture will take place at Beckenham Park, on Thursday 8 September. It is an undulating 5km course and will be key to decide the final placings. Do come and race if you can or support your fellow club members!
