Announcement: New Women’s Race Captain appointment
Gavin LauWe are excited to announce Jade Dos Santos as the Ladies Race Captain. Jade will be working closely with current Female Club Captain, Lily Zechmann, to support the Board as well as working alongside other volunteers to instil and influence the culture and values within the club. Jade brings great enthusiasm when it comes to encouraging and supporting racing amongst the ladies at the club.
Here’s a short bio from Jade to get to know her:
“Running was a big part of my childhood, originally running for Trent Park Running Club as a youngster. I have now been part of VPH for around two years and I have loved regaining my love for running and finally reaching a stage where I am quicker than my younger self. I am really excited to be the new Club Race Captain as racing with our lovely blue and jade vest is something I have enjoyed so much, particularly the XC and the SAL.”
