Announcement: A tribute to “Mac”, Mike Macfarlane

Very sorry to hear the news of the passing of Mike Macfarlane (always known as “Mac”.)

He joined VPH in the 70’s and was an outstanding sprinter from the beginning.

He went on to win 200m in the Commonwealth games and compete in the Olympics.

Above all, he was a great human being – I was lucky enough to say hello to him again at Lee Valley recently.
