Virtual Open 5 miles - 18 to 21 September 2020

Why virtual?

The 53rd Victoria Park Open 5 miles was originally scheduled for 28 March 2020, but was postponed on 17 March due to the response of the UK government and England Athletics to COVID-19. It was hoped that restrictions would have been eased sufficiently by September for the race to be run as normal, but the costs and complexity of complying with the current UK Athletics guidance on road races mean that the 53rd edition of the Victoria Park Open 5 miles will be virtual, but free to enter.

As an added incentive, Fix London have kindly offered the first male and female seniors and veterans (V40+) a one hour treatment each and every competitor £10 off a one hour treatment from 11 to 28 September 2020. Please note that this offer cannot be used in addition to the existing discount offered to members of Victoria Park Harriers and Tower Hamlets Athletics Club.

What about my entry fee?

If you paid to enter the Open 5 before it was postponed on 17 March 2020, your entry will be automatically carried over to the 54th edition, which is currently scheduled for Saturday 27 March 2021. If you prefer to be refunded, please email
