In memory of Mike Penman (1964 to 2003)
The race headquarters will be at the Victoria Park Harriers and Tower Hamlets AC clubhouse, located close to the junction of Cadogan Terrace and Victoria Park Road in the northeastern corner of the park.

There are some cycle racks at race HQ, plus plentiful railings around the park to which you can lock your bike.
The nearest TfL cycle hire docking station is a two minute walk from race HQ at Cadogan Close. There are more docking stations in the Olympic Park and on the south side of the Park.
Central, District, Hammersmith and City lines
20 minute walk: Exit Mile End station and turn left to the main junction. Turn right and follow Grove Road to the junction with Old Ford Road, which is the corner of the park. Enter the park to the right hand side through Crown Gate East and follow the right hand path around the inside perimeter of the park for approximately 1 mile to race HQ.
You can also take buses 277 or 425 northwards from stop G, up Grove Road (towards Highbury and Islington or Clapton) and get off at Victoria Park (stop T), from where you can walk through the park to the clubhouse.
Bus 388 from stop G will take you closest to the clubhouse. Get off at Wick Road and follow the main road round the corner to the right. The clubhouse is at the junction of Wick Road and Victoria Park Road.
To walk, exit the station onto Roman Road. Follow Roman Road to the junction with Grove Road, turn left and enter the park at Crown Gate East as for Mile End tube (see above).
Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford line
Exit the station and walk up Wallis Road. At the end of Wallis Road cross Rothbury Road and take the footbridge across the A12. You will come out facing Victoria Park. Turn right down Cadogan Terrace and the race HQ is at the bottom of the hill.
Exit the station and turn left. Turn right into Barnabas Road and walk down the hill to the junction of Wick Road (B113). Turn left and follow Wick Road. Continue past the Tiger pub beside the dual carriageway to the corner of Victoria Park. The race HQ is beside the main gate.
The clubhouse is within easy reach of a number of bus routes, including the 26, 30, 236, 276, 388 and 488, running approximately every 8 to 10 minutes.

Only blue badge holders are allowed motor vehicle access to the park, which is via St Mark’s Gate car park (E9 5HT), off Cadogan Terrace and requires an access key. Alternatively, when at the gate, call 020 8985 5699 and a ranger will be happy to open the gate for you. There is a 5mph speed limit for any motor vehicle permitted in the park.
Exit at Hackney Wick and turn first left into Cadogan Terrace. The race HQ is on your immediate right.
Exit at Hackney Wick. At the traffic lights continue straight ahead over Waterden Road, and continue past the petrol station and over the canal to the traffic lights. Continue straight ahead past the bus depot and then at the stop sign beside the Victoria pub turn right into Wick Road. Cadogan Terrace is second left opposite the Hand Carwash.
