Road and Cross Country Training

Road and Cross Country training is based out of the clubhouse in Victoria Park. All abilities are welcome. The sessions are:

  • Tuesday, 7pm: Speed work with Mick Cairns.
  • Thursday, 7pm: Long run (4 miles, 6 miles or 10 miles). A beginners' group will cover a shorter distance, depending on ability.

Please note that there are no training sessions on race nights, which include the last Thursday of every month (the club handicap), Assembly League races and some Chingford League races. Please check the fixtures calendar for details of upcoming races.

Circuit Training

Circuit training is led by Tony Bunbury at the clubhouse in Victoria Park on Mondays at 7pm. All abilities are welcome.

Track and Field Training

Track and Field training occurs at Mile End Stadium. New members should make themselves known to the session leaders.

The sessions are as follows (coaches in brackets):

  • Seniors (17 and over), Sprints and Hurdles: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 pm, Saturdays from 9 am (Chris Zah).
  • Seniors (17 and over), Middle- and Long-distance: Tuesdays from 7:15pm, other training by arrangement (Peter McHugh).
